Anne Wallin

Dr. Anne Wallin is Director, EH&S and Sustainability for Dow Europe, Middle East, and Africa for The Dow Chemical Company. She is responsible for Environment, Health and Safety and Sustainability services in the same regions for Toxicology, Product Safety and Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, and Sustainability. Anne began at Dow in Research and Development as a process chemist in the Agricultural Chemicals department and then moved to Environment, Health and Safety. She joined Dow Public Affairs in 1999, becoming the issue leader for Dow’s chlor-vinyl businesses and leading a leveraged global network. In 2007 she joined the Sustainability function as Program Director for the 2015 Sustainable Chemistry goal and leading the Life cycle Assessment Expert Group. A native of Wyoming, Anne holds a chemistry degree from Carleton College. She received a doctorate in organic chemistry from the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign) and was post-doctoral fellow at G.D. Searle. She is the co-author of several patents and publications.
