Antonios Kalogerakis is the Head of the Institute of Theology and Ecology, which is a Department of the Orthodox Academy of Crete (OAC), Greece. He leads the organization of conferences, seminars, workshops, and educational programs at the OAC with a focus on climate change, renewable energy sources, energy communities, life cycle sustainability analysis, social economy, and environmental sociology. He is particularly interested in topics related to environmental ethics and ecological justice. He graduated with distinction from the Environmental Engineering Department at the Technical University of Crete. He also holds a Masters degree from the University of Calgary in Canada, where he was admitted with scholarship.
