Rea Kaliroi Pournaras

Rea Pournaras was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. She completed her undergraduate degree in business administration at the Business School of the Bosphorus University, Istanbul, and subsequently pursued graduate studies at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Over the years, following relevant training in Geneva, Chicago and Segovia, Ms. Pournaras worked as a company auditor and senior financial consultant at some of the world’s leading professional services organizations in the fields of corporate auditing and human resources as well as client services and consultancy practices in Turkey and Greece. In more recent years, she has directed her skills and experience towards responsible charitable and cultural initiatives, which she has undertaken regionally and internationally. She has also served as a board member in various associations in Geneva, where over the last ten years she lives with her husband and their two daughters.
