Rev. Ciprian Ion Ioniță

Rev. Ciprian Ion Ioniță, B.Theol. M.Theol. is the coordinating patriarchal consellor of the Romanian Orthodox Church for social and philanthropic activities. He is a graduate of the Institute of Ecumenical Theology in Bari, Italy and holds a master’s degree from the Faculty of Orthodox Theology of the University of Bucharest, Romania. Rev Fr Ioniță is coordinating author of the paper entitled ‘Lights of social-philanthropic activity within the Romanian Orthodox Church’, which appeared at the Basilica publishing house, Bucharest, in 2019. He is also the president of the Filantropia Federation, which reunites 24 NGOs active in the social and philanthropic field in 22 dioceses.
